Teresa Cutler
Registered Dental Hygienist

As the senior member of the team, Teresa has "grown up with" with Dr. Parmley having been with the practice since 1990. She is responsible for the hygiene department; playing a critical role in educating and encouraging patients about the treatment options available. Teresa supports Dr. Parmley’s efforts to keep current with the latest information and technology by attending seminars and other educational opportunities. Her genuine patient interest, combined with her kind nature, makes patients feel "right at home".

Teresa earned her associates degree in dental hyiene from Southern Illinois University. She and her husband Scott have two daughters, Julie and Natalie. Teresa stays busy supporting her daughters’ participation in band, softball, and gymnastics. She and her family love to travel; taking vacation time and long weekends exploring new places. She also enjoys watching sports, especially football and is a true blue Dallas Cowboy fan.

Her friendly and energetic enthusiasm is a "perfect fit" for out office.

Michelle Powell
Chairside Dental Assistant

Michelle has been working for Dr. Parmley since August of 1996. As the only dental assistant, Michelle assists Dr. Parmley with treatment plans in additional to standard chairside duties. Michelle also has many jobs in the office including ordering supplies, care and sterilization of the instruments, lab work and even some front office work. Michelle is energetic and treats all patients like family. She can always find something to talk about with every patient.

Michelle received her certificate of Dental Assisting from John A. Logan College in May of 1996 and is a native of Murphysboro. She is married to her husband, Jimmy and has two wonderful children, Dylan and Kylie. Michelle’s hobbies include time with her kids and husband, "that next shopping trip with her girlfriends", and reading her weekly gossip magazines. She and her family are St. Louis Cardinal fans, love the outdoors, and when asked, she can tell you movie and T.V. facts from every genre.
